Who we are

Gems is run as a trading name, not yet an incorporated company. If that changes, these terms will be updated with our registered company details.

What signing up means

Signing up joins you to our early-access list. It isn't a booking, a job or a guarantee of any offer. We'll contact you when we're live near you, using the contact methods you chose, and any offer is shown to you in full before you say yes.

If you're a creator

• Post within 48 hours of your visit and leave the post up permanently.
• The venue's licence to keep using the content you supply from your visit is indefinite. It carries on even if you later delete your own post: deleting your post does not end the venue's licence. From 12 months after release you can ask us to take the content down from Gems pages. That covers Gems pages only; it cannot recall anything already downloaded or printed. Paid ads, print and any third-party or off-platform use are agreed with you separately, post by post, and are never bundled with anything else.
• Label every post as an ad (“Ad”) and say what you actually think — we don't edit your opinion.
• The details of any meal and payment are set out in the offer you accept, not here.

If you're a venue

You confirm you're authorised to register the venue you name. The nights, offers and any terms for a visit are agreed with you directly before anything goes ahead.

Your information

How we collect and use your details is explained in our privacy notice. You can ask us to delete your details at any time.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll update this page and its date, and we may ask you to accept the new version.
